Boordy Vineyards Hydes, MD

Amidst the rolling hills of North Central Maryland’s horse country, Boordy Vineyards creates prizewinning wines to please the palate, rooted in the area’s terroir and nurtured by the four generations of the vintner’s family who work the vines. A wine this steeped in history and craftsmanship called for a suitable tasting room to host visitors and celebrations at the vineyard. Inside a centuries-old barn, renovations were completed to stabilize and beautify the space, including restoring original beams, replacing unsuitable timber, repointing stone, and creating a bar and shelving wall. Tradition is in every sip, every touch, and in every viewing angle.

A spacious rustic winery tasting room, reminiscent of a luxury home, features wooden beams, high ceilings, wine racks, chandeliers, stone walls, and wooden tables with black chairs arranged throughout the open area.
