Bank of Bird In Hand Bird In Hand, PA

Converting this 1920s home into a bank branch posed several challenges: the floor plan needed to contain several offices, a secure vault space had to be supported, and ADA compliance was mandatory. James Hardie® siding and a synthetic slate roof give the exterior a durable and beautiful finish, and a drive-through awning with a seamed steel roof was added. Plus, as many bank customers are Amish, we built an adjoining horse shelter.

A large, two-story luxury home with stone and white siding, a gray gabled roof, and a front porch. A sign reading “Free Cheesecakes” hangs above the front windows. Green lawn and shrubs sit in front under a partly cloudy sky.
A stone and white-paneled building with multiple dormer windows and a chimney sits on a well-manicured lawn. Reminiscent of a classic bank barn, a sign in front reads “Bank of Bird-in-Hand.” The sky above is partly cloudy.
A stone and white building with large windows and a “CHECKING” banner at the entrance, this luxury home is surrounded by shrubs, a paved walkway, a streetlamp, and has a road and greenery in the background.
A renovated white building with a stone chimney, drive-thru canopy, and large windows resembles a modern bank barn, sitting in front of an empty parking lot under a blue sky with scattered clouds.
A stone luxury home with black shutters, white trim, and a large star decoration above the window. A black lamp post, green shrubs, and neatly trimmed grass complete the elegant front yard setting.
